SHOTS were fired at a house in Huddersfield.

Detectives today appealed for help in tracing the gunman who fired the shots through the window of a house on a quiet Fartown street.

The bullets went through the window at the terraced home on Blackhouse Road at 10.50pm on Friday night.

People were in the house, but no-one was hurt.

Det Sgt Nigel Gittins, of Kirklees CID, said: “We would appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us.

“Did anyone see a vehicle or was the person or persons responsible on foot?

“Any incident involving a firearm is treated very seriously.’’
