POLICE have seized 11 suspected cannabis plants in Calderdale.
Police from Halifax seized the plants from an industrial unit at Sowerby Bridge.
They also found hydroponics equipment in a second unit at the site off Rochdale Road.
The plants – which were found on Sunday – have been sent for forensic analysis and inquiries are continuing.
Sgt Andrew Carlin said: “We need the public to continue passing us information about suspected illegal drug activity.
“We ask people to keep us informed on anything suspicious in their areas. We will act on information that is passed to us.
“Where we suspect the illegal cultivation and supply of cannabis is taking place we will take action to disrupt it.
“If anyone suspects someone is growing cannabis they should call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
A 26-year-old man has been arrested over the production of cannabis in Huddersfield, Bradford, South Yorkshire and the West Midlands.
He was arrested by the Metropolitan Police and charged with six offences of cannabis production.
He is believed to be linked to a cannabis farm discovered in Lidgett Green, Bradford, in January.
