POLICE have been given more time to question four men and a woman in connection with the murder of a police officer.

Pc Sharon Beshenivsky, mother of three children and two stepchildren, was killed as she arrived at the raid in a travel agent's shop in Bradford, on Friday.

Her colleague Pc Teresa Milburn, 37, was shot in the shoulder. She was discharged from hospital on Sunday and is recovering at her home in Birstall.

The gang fled from the scene of a robbery "firing like cowboys" in a Western, it was reported.

Bradford travel agency boss Mohammed Yousef has revealed how his sons, a staff member and a former worker were terrorised by three men wielding a machete and a gun on Friday afternoon.

The victims were tied with cables, and two of his sons were pistol-whipped and the third threatened with a gun as the robbers demanded £100,000 at the shop in Morley Street.
