Heavily-armed police have surrounded flats in Quarmby amid growing fears a siege is under way.
Several officers sealed off Buckden Court flats on Chesil Bank late this afternoon and remain at the scene.
No-one is allowed near.
A police spokeswoman said: "The incident is in connection with an aggravated burglary in Bradford at 2.54pm today. Inquiries are ongoing."
