POST office chiefs have promised to re-open a village post office soon.
Following the resignation of the sub-postmaster Roberttown Post Office closed last month.
A Post Office spokes-woman, Allison Wallace, said: “We apologise for the inconvenience this temporary closure is causing. I can assure our customers that we are committed to restoring post office services in the area as soon as possible. Anyone interested in the sub-postmaster vacancy must be able to provide suitable, alternative premises. They should contact our agency recruitment section on 0845 601 6260.”
While the Roberttown Lane office is closed people can use Heckmondwike Post Office in Market Street, Cleckheaton Post Office on Greenside or any other branch of their choice.
