The President of Brighouse and Rastrick Band has announced he is standing down from the post.
Paul Beaumont has been in the position for 18 years, but is now resigning to spend more time with family.
The retired technology entrepreneur became President in 1998 and has previously sponsored the band to defend their European title in Munich.
Paul said: “I have been honoured to hold the position of President of the world famous Brighouse and Rastrick Band for the last 18 years.
“It is a wonderful institution and I am privileged to have been part of a dedicated and expert team that has steered the Band through the most recent phase of its development.
“I wish the team and my successor all the best for the future”.
Paul will remain a member of the Yorkshire Brass Band Regional Committee.
