ALL 175 pupils of a Golcar school have gone into the CD recording business.

A CD with 14 tracks has been recorded by children from Beech County Junior, Infant and Nursery School.

Head teacher Jenny Hume said: "The early years children have chosen a medley of nursery rhymes for the CD, our gospel choir has recorded three tracks and years two to six have sung a sample of English songs in different styles."

The CD, which will be sold to raise money for school funds, is being put together by School Recording Stars, an organisation which works with schools to produce fundraising CDs.

Anyone who wants to buy a copy of the CD should ring the school on 01484 222214.
