AN inmate has died at New Hall prison.
Huddersfield woman Victoria Robinson, 27, was on remand at the Flockton jail awaiting trial after she was charged with making threats to kill.
She was found hanging at 6.10pm yesterday and paramedics pronounced her dead at 7pm. Staff had tried to revive her.
There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner has been informed.
The death will be investigated as a matter of course by the Prison Service Ombudsman.
