A MAJOR inquiry has been launched after a 22-year-man died in hospital following a disturbance in the West Bowling area of Bradford.
The man was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary after police were called to the Gaythorne Road area at around 3.45pm yesterday.
He was pronounced dead just before 3am this morning.
A 24-year-old man also underwent surgery following the incident, and is in a critical condition in the hospital.
A 17-year-old man was treated for lacerations and discharged.
Three people – a 42-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man – have all been arrested on suspicion of murder and are being detained at police stations throughout West Yorkshire.
The inquiry is being led by Det Supt Tim Thorber, of West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiries Team.
