A TOP lawyer will go on patrol with police in Huddersfield on Monday.
Gaynor Zeki, the Crown Prosecution Service’s community prosecutor, will go out with Huddersfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team. She hopes to get a first-hand insight into crime and disorder.
She said: “I decided to get out and about on local streets with my police colleagues, so I could see for myself what the issues are at street level, how they are tackled, and what kind of effect they are having on the lives of the people who live here.”
