A MAN who was seen by hundreds of people breaking into a bank is to receive psychiatric care.

The 21-year-old from Milnsbridge kicked his way into the Lloyds TSB bank in Marsh through the front door.

The strange incident happened at 10.20am on Wednesday morning next to busy Westbourne Road. The man was arrested by police and brought out clutching a mortgage information leaflet. The man has not been charged with any offence, but is to receive treatment.

The Lloyds TSB branch is now only open on Mondays and Fridays from 10am to 3pm.
