THE cause of a blaze at a Huddersfield pub remains a mystery.
Fire brigade investigators have been working on the site since the derelict Primrose Hill pub went up in flames on Tuesday morning.
But an investigation has so far proved inconclusive, so more work has still to be done to establish the cause of the fire.
The pub, on the corner of Whitehead Lane and Queen’s Mill Road, was engulfed in flames, with smoke billowing from the building for hours.
The pub has been closed for around two years and is for sale.
In recent years it has become a target for vandals who have smashed windows and started rubbish fires.
