ACTIVISTS will hold a meeting opposing public spending cuts this week.
Huddersfield Trades Union Council has organised the event at the National Children’s Centre on New North Parade from 7pm on Thursday.
Speakers include Kirklees Unison branch secretary Paul Holmes, Halifax Labour MP Linda Riordan and Carol Alexis from Black Activists Rising Against the Cuts.
