THREE meetings are planned so Colne Valley people can give their views on transport.

They are being organised by Kirklees Council's environment and transport service.

Topics suggested for discussion include buses, parking and "rat runs".

People's views are wanted for a study being carried out by the council.

Visitors are asked to call in at any time to give their views, ask questions and discuss their concerns.

The meetings will be at Milnsbridge Village Hall on Tuesday, September 28, from 10am to 8pm; at Providence Methodist Church, Golcar, on Wednesday, October 6, from 1pm to 8pm; and in Linthwaite Methodist Church Centre on Thursday, October 7, from 10am until 8pm.

If you cannot attend, email your views to richard.chapman@kirklees.gov or write to Richard Chapman, senior engineer (transport), Environment and Trans- portation, Kirklees Council, Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield, HD1 6LG.
