A CHEEKY ad that sets the pulse racing has been banned by the First Bus Company.
The advert for Pulse Radio, which broadcasts across West Yorkshire, was planned to go on the side of First Buses travelling around Kirklees, but has been censored after worries it was too shocking.
The poster was to show presenters Jacqui Blay, from Dewsbury, and Steve Bailey, from Bradford, naked but both First and road-side billboard giant Viacom - who let out the bus advertising space - refused to allow it.
Programme controller at Bradford-based Pulse, Mark Brow, said the adverts were meant to be fun and encourage people to listen to the Best Bits show. He said: "What started out as a bit of fun has been blown out of all proportion.
"In comparison to images on daytime television we considered the bright and light-hearted treatment of our new breakfast show to be eye-catching but never offensive."
The adverts will now appear with computer enhanced white pants on the presenters.
