A QUARMBY man has reappeared before Huddersfield magistrates accused of harassing three women.

John Dunford, 45, of Hebdon Court, faces two charges of harassment – one involving the fear of violence and the other without violence.

The charges relate to two separate incidents last year. On allegedly took place outside a textile shop in Huddersfield’s Packhorse Centre.

On one charge he will be dealt with by Bradford Crown Court on September 7.

He will also reappear before Huddersfield magistrates on August 6 to face the other alleged harassment case.

He was granted conditional bail and is prevented from contacting the three women he is alleged to have harassed. They live in Dalton, Paddock and Longwood.

He is also forbidden from entering the streets where they live or the Pack Horse Centre.
