A QUIZ night will raise money for a new charity.
Little Ruddi Waterworth-Jones has inspired Ruddi’s Retreat, to help families suffering from the after affects of cancer.
And a fundraiser for the cause will take place this Thursday starting at 7.30pm at The Nightingale, Acre Street in Lindley.
The quiz night includes a pie and pea supper for £5 each.
There will also be a raffle and a few brave participants having their heads shaved and legs waxed.
Longwood toddler Ruddi Waterworth-Jones was diagnosed with a rare cancer at just six months old.
Following a year of treatment he has now been in remission for 17 months.
But his family wanted to help others going through a similar experience to them and formed the charity.
