QUIZ specialists have taken part in a testing TV programme.
The Dreadnoughts, who compete in the Colne Valley Quiz League, will appear on Battle of the Brains on BBC2.
The quiz show, hosted by Paddy O’Connell, tests some of the finest minds in the country.
The seven-strong Colne Valley team travelled to Manchester’s Granada Studios to record their programmes last month. They will be broadcast at 6pm on August 20 and 21.
Team member Alistair Whitehead from Marsden said: “We’re not allowed to say exactly how it went but we were quite happy with our performance. We did better than we expected.”
The Dreadnoughts include people from Marsden, Mirfield and Marsh.
