DENBY Dale Amateur Radio Society is all set to celebrate a special anniversary next year.
The club is planning a number of special events throughout the year to mark its ruby anniversary celebration, including an open day on Saturday, June 29.
Then they hope to welcome both past and present club members as well as anyone locally who might be interested in taking up the hobby.
The club has also appealed for any readers who have any photographs or memorabilia from the early days of the club to get in touch.
It was one of the largest clubs in the area with a membership of more than 100.
