A HUDDERSFIELD firm donned dark glasses - in the name of charity.
Aedas employees looked cool for charity when they donned sunglasses and summer wear to take part in The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association's Shades Day.
Shades Day is Guide Dogs' annual fundraising and awareness initiative in which people pay £1 to wear sunglasses.
Additional fundraising and eye care awareness activities at Aedas included paying £1 to participate in the BeachWear dress down day, Best Sunglasses competition, Best Shirt competition, a cake stall, raffle and an Eyesight Trivia Quiz during the lunch hour. Donations and sales from the cake stall and lunch raised a total of £400.
Combined with a matching donation from the Aedas directors, the total amount raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind was £800.
