AN EXHIBITION to celebrate rambling and its portrayal in art comes to Huddersfield Art Gallery on April 4.
Walking Out by Simon Warner celebrates the depiction of walking and the landscape from the present back to the days of Wordsworth and Constable.
The exhibition, which runs until June 20, includes art by Kirklees artists together with video and audio work.
It is the first of a series of six exhibitions called Dialogues where artists are invited to create further art inspired by the gallery’s collection of work by local artists.
The next exhibition, from June 27 to August 22, will feature Leeds-based sculptor Sheila Gaffney and include work by Huddersfield-born artist Carl Plackman.
