This rare camper van has been stolen from Stainland.

The Ford 2008 Westfalia Nugget was taken from High Street between 8.30am on Sunday, February 8, and 7pm on Sunday, 15 February. The Nugget, which is a Transit camper van, is one of only approximately 50 (right-hand drive versions) ever made.

The vehicle has a lot of distinctive features including a pop up roof hinged at the front, twin side loading doors and a tailgate (rare for a Transit) and privacy glass on all windows behind the cab.

There is also a thick rubber strip acting as a deflector above the windscreen, a ‘Westfalia’ sticker on the right hand side above the windscreen and a colour coded grille.

Pc Jonathan Sutton said: “This is a distinctive and irreplaceable vehicle and I would appeal to anyone who sees it or is perhaps offered it for sale to get in contact.”
