IT was a school day with a difference.

Pupils at Rastrick High School took part in Mongolian cooking and Latin dancing.

It was part of the school’s Cultural Diversity Day, which aimed to get the students involved in different activities.

Pupils also got to grips with Henna tattooing, lessons in sign language, rap, poetry and robotics.

A school spokeswoman said: “Our year nines visited Chester Zoo for an animal behaviour study.”

The study involved observing the behaviour of different animals, record their movements and using results in follow-up mathematics lessons.
