RASTRICK High School had a silver lining – of coins.

As part of the school’s silver jubilee, the staff and pupils took silver coins into the school to line them up around the sports hall.

And they raised £586 towards the minibus appeal.

Every form was challenged to take part and class 8/1 was the overall winner. Teacher Mr Walker raised more than £60 with the longest line of silver coins, which doubled back over the width of the sports hall.
