HOSPICE staff have expressed their gratitude to members of a social club who have raised thousands of pounds to help their patients.
The Barclays Club in Ravensthorpe last year raised £3,000 for Kirkwood Hospice.
The North Road group, set up by Peter and Linda Barclay, have been supporting the Dalton hospice for 18 years and have collected £40,000 in total.
The Barclays group members have raised cash through raffles, book sales, sponsored walks and campaigns.
Last year club member Allen Mitchell completed a sponsored Morecambe to Scarborough cycle ride in just one day.
Kirkwood Hospice events fundraiser Jane Dutton said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to Peter, Linda and all the members of Barclays Club for their wonderful support over many years.”
