PEOPLE given awards in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List enjoyed a special reception at Huddersfield Town Hall.
The civic reception was held by the Mayor of Kirklees, Clr Karam Hussain.
It was also attended by the deputy mayor Clr Julie Stewart-Turner, the Vice-Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire John Brennan, Kirklees Council chief executive Rob Vincent and deputy leader of the council Clr Jim Dodds.
The guests of honour were five Kirklees residents who received Queen’s Birthday Honours – Iqbal Bhana, Anthony Eustance, Dr Paul Salveson, Geoffrey Hirst and Paul Taylor.
