THERE are smiles all around at The West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust.
They are celebrating becoming record-breakers having topped the £100,000 income mark in fundraising one month.
Rob Wilde, general manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted,” said “An unexpected, large donation got the month off to an excellent start and things just went from strength to strength thereafter.
“We owe thanks to everyone who has helped raise this sum – it has been a real team effort.”
Apart from the very welcome donation, other fundraising activities continued to boost funds – coffee mornings, birthdays, corporate support, large balls and events, sponsored activities. The charity’s first shop in Lindley has also seen an excellent month.
“These are very exciting times for the Trust, with lots of new initiatives starting over the coming months,” said Mr Wilde.
