THE Alzheimer’s Society is holding its third Memory Walk on Saturday September 3.
The walk, in Beaumont Park, is just one mile long and features some scenic views en route.
Last year The Society raised £3,000 and organisers are hoping for an even bigger walk this year.
Last year’s event was supported by staff from Lindley Grange Nursing Home and their sponsorship was matched by BUPA.
The society is now looking to get more homes involved, together with relatives and carers.
Everyone is welcome to take part, with or without sponsorship.
