"THEY shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn; At the going down of the sun and in the morning: We will remember them."

These are the poignant words which will be spoken as Huddersfield remembers its fallen war heroes on Sunday.

Parades and services will be held across the district.

Huddersfield's Remembrance Sunday service has been switched to the Town Hall this year.

The move has been made because renovation work is being carried out at Huddersfield Parish Church.

There will be a parade from Huddersfield Parish Church to the Town Hall.

People are asked to assemble at the church at 10am, where the Vicar of Huddersfield, the Rev Catherine Ogle, will give a blessing before the parade sets off at 10.15am.

The route to the Town Hall will be along Byram Street, St Peter's Street, John William Street, New Street and Ramsden Street.

The mayor will take the salute at Market Place.

The service in the Town Hall will begin at 10.50am.

The Bishop of Pontefract, the Right Rev Tony Robinson, will preach sermon.

Light refreshments will be provided in the Town Hall after the service.
