VOLUNTEERS are needed to help run a newly re-opened charity shop.

The RSPCA shop has had a stylish makeover and now volunteers are appealing for more people to work in the shop.

Jenny Madden, a volunteer at the Trinity Street branch, said: “We re-opened this week and the shop has had a total refurbishment. It is light, bright and full of life and colourful clothes.

“It used to look like a giant jumble sale, but it looks so beautiful now after the revamp.

“We are run entirely by volunteers, but we always need more people to help out and we need donations to the shop too.”

The RSPCA shop stocks clothing for children and adults, shows, accessories, books and bric-a-brac.

The volunteers are looking for people of all ages to work in the shop and if you can spare some time to help out contact Jenny Madden on 01484 426 181.
