LONG-SERVING employees at a Huddersfield engineering firm have been rewarded for their efforts.
Simon Broadbent, managing director of Thomas Broadbent and Sons, presented certificates, travel vouchers and cheques to 15 employees who have served the Queen Street South firm for 40 years or more.
The longest-serving employee is David Bailey, a senior production operator who has been with the company 49 years.
He is pictured (centre) receiving his award from Simon Broadbent, watched by other long-serving workers, office staff, foremen and service engineers.
Together, they have notched up 656 years for the firm.
