A MAN used a road sign to attack a car at traffic lights in Upperthong.
A 38-year-old man was waiting in his green Vauxhall Corsa at temporary traffic lights at Greenfield Road at 7pm on Easter Monday , when the attack took place.
The man, from Holmfirth, saw a man get out of the passenger door of a car behind him, pull down a temporary road sign from a wall and swing it into the side of his Corsa, damaging the bodywork.
The man then got back in the passenger side of the other car and it drove off.
The attacker was described as in his early 20s, 5ft 8ins tall with straight, light brown hair.
He was clean shaven.
