A DRIVER escaped with slight injuries after a car careered into a shop window after a crash.
The driver of the blue Renault was treated by paramedics after the vehicle came to rest in King Street, Brighouse, having broken the window at the M&Co shop, formerly known as MacKays.
The Renault had been involved in an accident with a Fiat.
Police closed King Street and Commercial Street for an hour after the accident yesterday afternoon, which caused traffic to back-up in the town centre and on to the ring road.
