A MAN robbed betting office staff at knifepoint.
The thief went into Coral bookmakers at Dewsbury Gate Road in Staincliffe, Dewsbury, on Saturday at teatime.
He pretended to be a customer and chatted to other people before leaving at closing time at 6pm.
But as the last customer left and a woman member of staff was locking up, he forced his way back in and threatened her with a knife.
He escaped after stealing cash.
The robber was described as white, around 5ft 10ins and slim to medium build with short, mousey brown hair.
He wore a black fleece and blue jeans.
