A THIEF was spotted when a lodger returned to a house.
But he still made off with a DVD player from the house in Glendene Mews, Milnsbridge, despite being challenged by the 20-year-old lodger at about 7.30pm on Wednesday.
The thief got in the house through an insecure kitchen window.
He searched the property, but ran off after being disturbed by the lodger.
The thief was white, aged around 19, 5ft 10in and of medium build.
He was wearing a dark blue hooded top with a thin white hoop on the chest.
