TWO robbers, posing as police officers, mugged an elderly woman in her home.
The pair, aged about 25, entered the house through an unlocked front door on Friday lunchtime, claiming they were investigating a burglary.
When the woman, from Thornton Road, Dewsbury, challenged the thieves, they pushed her to the floor before escaping with her bag.
Both robbers were white and wearing clothing similar to police uniforms.
A white van, which might have been mistaken for a police vehicle, was also seen in the area around the time of the incident.
