TWO machete-wielding robbers raided a supermarket.

Staff were closing the Lidl store on Station Road in Mirfield, when the two robbers rushed in at 8.15pm last night.

They ordered the terrified staff to lie on the floor and then took one man to a cash office where they forced him to fill a waste paper bin with cash.

The thieves then fled.

Both are white men who wore black balaclavas.

One is in his mid-20s and wore a light grey, long-sleeved top while his accomplice wore a reddish brown hooded top.
