AN ARTIST and musician will be everywhere in a Huddersfield town centre bar today.

The first piece of artwork by James Armitage was being installed in Zephyr today.

It's a print of music icon and former Beatle the late George Harrison.

Then tonight James will be rocking the King Street bar in his other role - as lead guitarist in the band Serf.

James, 25, of Longwood, said: "It will be really good.

"There's going to be the thrill of performing and also the thrill of people looking at my work.

"I'm doing a graphic design course at Huddersfield University and this is the first thing I've put on show somewhere.

"So, fingers crossed, it will get a good reception.

"I enjoy doing the graphic design stuff. I'm focusing on icons, particularly from rock and roll. It will be great to play with the band with my work on show."
