A RUNNER raised hundreds for charity at the world’s biggest half-marathon.
Slaithwaite man Jonathan Cartwright completed the Great North Run on Sunday, raising £450 for the Children with Leukaemia charity.
The 38-year-old ran the 13-mile course in 1hr 37mins.
Jonathan trains twice a week with the Stadium Runners at the Galpharm Stadium. He said: “I lost my grandmother and a friend of mine to the disease so I thought it was a good charity to run for.”
