STAFF at Sainsbury’s Shore Head store have raised hundreds to help a little boy.
They took part in a series of fundraising events to help fund a special helmet for Logan Crotty.
Logan, of Meltham, needs a special helmet to cure a condition called Flathead Syndrome.
One of the store staff, Oliver Lawton, had his arms, legs and chest waxed to help the appeal, and other colleagues had waxing.
There was also a raffle organised for staff and customers.
Sainsbury’s Lisa Ellis said: “I saw Logan’s story in the Examiner and it struck a chord. He suffers from plagiocephaly, which is a condition that I have and it affects my arm.”
The store hopes to raise about £800.
