A DOOR-TO-DOOR salesman was robbed by a gang armed with a club and a knife.
The 20-year-old, from Nottingham, was in an alleyway off Fields Way in Kirkheaton at about 7.30pm on Friday when three men in balaclavas walked up to him.
One threatened him with a wooden baton before another hit him in the back of the head.
One pulled out a knife and told him to empty his pockets.
The gang stole his Sony Ericsson mobile phone and ran off.
Two were white and one was mixed race. They were all about 5ft 10ins tall and athletically built.
They wore dark clothing, bandanas and balaclavas.
