SANTA rode pillion on a motorbike to get to Rowley Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School in Lepton.

He took time out of his busy schedule to drop in on two wheels for the school's Christmas fair.

Headteacher Carol Martin said Santa visited the school each December on a different form of transport.

Last year he arrived by horse and cart and the year before in a stretch limo.

"He spends all day with us in his grotto along with Mother Christmas and a couple of elves, and even has his photograph taken with some of the children," she said.

The Christmas fair is held each year for children and parents and raises around £1,000 for school funds.
