KIRKBURTON Business Association will be spreading Christmas spirit throughout this month.
The festivities will start on Saturday when the association will set up a Santa's grotto from 11am in the Jet Petrol Station on North Road in Kirkburton.
Each child to visit the grotto will get a Christmas gift to take home and will have their photo taken with Santa.
There will also be face painting and horse and carriage rides to keep youngsters amused.
During the rest of December, Kirkburton Business Association will take Santa and his sleigh on a tour around Kirkburton.
The sleigh will visit as many local streets as possible, playing music as it goes.
Residents will be asked to make donations to Kirkburton Business Association members who will be accompanying Santa.
The money will go towards paying for 2005's Christmas events and some will be donated to Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Guides groups in Kirkburton.
