ENGLAND soccer fans in Huddersfield are being asked to revive the entente cordiale.

They are being urged to banish memories of Sunday's loss against France and help budding Zinedine Zidanes and Thierry Henrys.

Teenage French soccer stars are to take part in a Huddersfield Town Academy summer school.

Many of the French teenagers, who start the courses on June 30, still have nowhere to stay.

Course organisers have found homes with families for some of the youngsters.

But they still need other people to offer places to stay. People who lodge the youngsters for two weeks receive £150.

The first group of footballers will come between June 30 and July 14 and the second party is here from July 14 until July 28.

In all, 112 youngsters aged between 12 and 17 will be coming to the soccer school. All speak English.

They are given travel passes and make their own way to and from training.

Anyone with a home for a player should phone Brian Mashinter on 01484 712622.
