Help for small retailers
SMALL retailers can make their shops safer by taking part in a new Kirklees council scheme. The council’s safer stronger communities service has a £49,664 Home Office grant to fund security packs for shops hit by crime in the last two years in Dewsbury. The packs include items like radios for the Shopwatch scheme, a forged note detectors, panic alarms and security mirrors. The deadline for applications is Friday, February 19.
