COUNCILLORS have approved the expansion of a high school. Kirklees Council’s Cabinet has promised to give £1m to Salendine Nook High School for a new science laboratory and computer suite. The estimated cost rose from £750,000 after asbestos was found at the site. The Cabinet approved a final business case for the development at a meeting in Holmfirth.
