DENBY First School is combining fitness with fun, fancy dress and fair celebrations.
The school, at Upper Denby, is holding a Red Sox Fun Day on July 10.
The event - starting at 1pm - is being held as part of the national Sport Relief charity appeal, which encourages people to get sponsored to complete a mile of exercise - such as running, swimming, walking or cycling - while wearing one red sock.
The school wants people to join pupils in their Sport Relief challenges and is asking them to add fancy dress to their red socks on the day.
Running alongside the sporting events, will be the school fair.
Proceeds from the fair will go to school funds.
