AN indoor cycle training course for children aged eight to 13 will be run by Kirklees Council's road safety unit during the February half term holiday.
Clr Martyn Bolt, Kirklees Cabinet member for road safety, said: "I encourage parents to ensure their children are fully trained in cycle safety.
"More families can then enjoy our cycle networks in safety."
The course is free and will take one hour a day for three days starting at 10am.
The course dates are February 19, 21 and 22 and will be held at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre, Windmill lane, Howden Clough, Batley. Application forms can be obtained from the sports centre reception, phone 01924 326181.
