THE vast majority of the pictures in this special ‘Class Act’ edition of All Our Yesterdays have come from readers near and far.
Though many contributors are local, we have items that have travelled from Pembrokeshire in South Wales, Greetland and Nottingham to provoke memories in at least three generations of people who were educated in Huddersfield.
The pictures span the first half of the 20th century, from the snapshots of Beaumont Street School in 1917 to school trips in the 1950s.
