TIME is fast running out for schools to get their hands on a share of £10,000.

Next Saturday at 11am is the deadline for the Examiner’s Schools – Collect for Cash tokens to be handed in to the newspaper.

The final token appeared in the paper last Saturday.

The tokens will be counted by hand and each needs to be clearly marked with the name of your school.

It is not necessary to count all the tokens or bundle them together, but schools did last year and that helped with counting.

When you have your sack of tokens ready drop them into the Examiner’s Queen Street South offices or post them to: Schools – Collect for cash Competition, Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Queen Street South, Huddersfield HD1 3DU.

The offices close at noon on that day, so you will not be able to drop them off after this time.

Examiner senior marketing executive Natasha Maskery said: “We have had a great response to this year’s competition, with 52 schools registering to take part.

“We have also had lots of people responding to the online bonus tokens.

“During the half-term holiday we will be busy counting tokens and hopefully will be able to announce the winners as soon as possible after schools go back. We may even have extra prizes!.”
